SARTI presenta dues conferències

A càrrec de professors estrangers especialistes

Des del grup de recerca  Centre de Desenvolupament Tecnològic de Sistemes d'Adquisició Remota i Tractament de la Informació (SARTI) es presenten dues conferències a càrrec de professors d’universitats europees arran del programa de mobilitat ERASMUS. Les xerrades tindran lloc dimecres i dijous, 1 i 2 de juliol, a les 9.30h al Centre Tecnològic de Vilanova i la Geltrú (CTVG). Estan dirigides a professorat i estudiantat universitari i a totes aquelles persones interessades en el temes que es presenten.

Professor Janusz Mindykowski
Professor Janusz Mindykowski was born in Poland in 1950. He received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the Gdańsk University of Technology, Poland, in 1974 and 1981, respectively, and the D.Sc. degree from Warsaw University of Technology, Poland, in 1993 and the Professor’s title – in 2002 from the President of the Republic of Poland. He is currently a Vice-Rector for Research and International Cooperation (2012-2016), Gdynia Maritime University and since 2002 a full professor of this University.
His main research interests are concentrated on measurement aspects of technical systems operation and diagnosis, mainly ship’s systems. A key point of his research is focused on power quality problems. He has published more than 200 papers (about 40 in journals and conference proceedings indexed in the Web of Science base) and 4 monographs on the area of his scientific activity. Janusz Mindykowski is a Fellow Member (1994-2013) of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (before IEE), a Senior Member (2013) of the Institution of Electrical and Electronic Engineers I&M and PES societies, Chapter Chairman of Polish Section IEEE-I&M (2008-2012) and a Chairman (2012-2015) of IMEKO Technical Committee on Measurement of Electrical Quantities (TC4). He is also the Member of the Committee for Metrology and Instrumentation, Polish Academy of Sciences (2003), the Member of the Technical Board of Polish Register of Shipping (2001), Honorary Professor of Shanghai Maritime University (2006).
 
 
Professor Linus Michaeli
Prof. Linus Michaeli is full professor at the Department of Electronics and Multimedial Telecommunications, Technical University of Košice, Slovakia. His main field of interes is analog-digital and digital-analog conversion, analog and digital processing of measured signals and modelling and identification of the circuit parameters by testing. Prof.Michaeli is pat chairman of IMEKO TC-4 Committee. Measurtement of electrical quantities“, supervisor of the study branch. Measurement technique“and team leader of many projects with industry.
 
Lecture outline
1.     Analog-digital and digital-analog converters architecturtes and their metrological parameters.
2.     Standardizer testing of analog-digital and digital-analog converters.
3.     Non-standardized analog-digital and digital-analog converter testing based on model parameter estimation.
