- Bachelor's degrees in the industrial engineering field that do not qualify graduates to practise a regulated profession: Product Design, Industrial Scheduling, etc.
- Other engineering fields
- Other degrees
Application shortlisting criteria
If there are more candidates than places, candidates will be ordered according to the admission mark, where:
Admission mark = FIELD1 + NGE2 + CV3
(1) FIELD OF THE ENTRANCE QUALIFICATION
FIELD | SCORE |
Industrial engineering | 1 |
Other engineering fields | 0.75 |
(2) NGE: FINAL MARK IN THE ACADEMIC RECORD
The final mark recorded in the academic record, NGE, is calculated according to the ECTS scale. The criterion used is the following: sum of the ECTS credits passed by students, each multiplied by the value of the corresponding mark, according to the following table, and divided by the number of ECTS credits passed.
ECTS SCALE | A | B | C | D | E |
SCORE | 4 | 3 | 2 | 1 | 1 |
International qualitative scale | Excellent | Very Good | Good | Satisfactory | Sufficient |
Spain (reformed curricula) | Distinction | Excellent | Good | Pass | Pass |
Spain (non-reformed curricula) | 10 | 9 | 8-7 | 6 | 5 |
ECTS credits recognised without a mark are not counted in the weighting of the academic record.
For reformed curricula in Spain that have not been adapted to the EHEA:
- This mark, on a scale of 0 to 4, appears on official academic certificates.
For non-reformed curricula in Spain or foreign curricula that have not been adapted to the EHEA:
- Marks for subjects passed that have been converted according to the previous equivalence table are used to calculate the final mark in the academic record. The final thesis counts as a subject as long as it has a mark that allows it to be included in the calculation of the average mark in the academic record. A subject taught over a term or semester, if this is explicitly stated, counts as half a subject.
(3) CV: CURRICULUM VITAE
Assessment of candidates’ work experience and curriculum vitae. This is awarded a mark of between 0 and 0.25.
(4) BRIDGING COURSES TO BE TAKEN DEPENDING ON THE ENTRANCE QUALIFICATION
In accordance with the provisions of Governing Council Decision 98/2014, of 28 April 2014, which approves the academic regulations for master's degrees for the 2014-2015 academic year, students from first- or second-cycle engineering degrees or bachelor's degrees in engineering are not required to take 30 ECTS credits in bridging courses.
For students from other degrees, the academic committee will consider the bridging courses in each case.
