Why study at the EPSEVG?

The EPSEVG is a relatively small school, with just 1400 students, so our staff can really engage with students.

Demand for engineering graduates is stronger than for those of any other programme, and that's not going to change in the medium term. Ninety percent of our students receive job offers before completing their studies.

When you start at the School, you’ll be able to attend induction sessions held in July and September of each year.

We'll assign you a tutor as part of a tutorial action plan designed to support you throughout your studies.

Students taking engineering courses need a strong foundation in mathematics and physics. We offer you the option of taking bridging courses before you undertake your studies.

For over 10 years, the EPSEVG has been an accessible campus for people with reduced mobility – with ramps, lifts, adapted toilets, etc. We have students with sensory impairments and other health difficulties and disabilities.

The Vilanova Campus hosts the UPC’s Accessibility Chair.

The EPSEVG is a multidisciplinary school where you can pursue a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechanics, Industrial Design or Informatics. We also offer master’s degrees in Automatic Control, Design and Railway Systems. This multidisciplinary character means you can participate in multidisciplinary projects and competition teams where students from different bachelor’s courses work together on a shared project.

We offer two EPSEVG international programmes for our students: the European Project Semester (EPS) and the International Design Projecte Semester (IDPS)

You can also complete a period of study at one of our partner universities around the world.

Each year, around 50 students complete a period of study abroad.

We offer career guidance activities, including career guidance and professional qualification workshops, and the business forum Face to Face, where you can get to know companies where you can complete a work placement or maybe even land a job.

We offer work placements in many companies through our work placement and job bank. Business and research

Our entrepreneurship programme – Espai Emprèn UPC Vilanova – provides entrepreneurship education.

Approved projects receive support in the form of specific training. Participants can take advantage of Espai Emprèn UPC Vilanova facilities and start taking the first steps on the path to business success.

You can take part in a wealth of activities that will enrich your university experience. The School has a number of student associations including a human tower club and a design group. You can also take part in sports or join one of our competition teams.
