European Project Semester
European Project Semester (EPS) is a programme offered by 19 European universities in 12 countries throughout Europe to students who have completed at least two years of study. EPS is created with engineering students in mind, but other students who can participate in an engineering project are also welcome.
Characteristics:
- It is international, multidisciplinary and multicultural.
- English is the working language.
- It addresses the real needs of companies.
- It is an intensive, one-semester programme.
- It is worth 30 ECTS credits
Structure:
- A project:
During the semester and under the guidance of an academic tutor, an international team of four to six students works on a real-life multidisciplinary project for a Spanish or an international company. The work teams are made up of students with different academic backgrounds. Individual and group tutorials will be offered during the semester.
- Intensive seminars:
Short intensive programme with practical workshops about topics related to project management will also be offered to enhance the work related to the Project and to help students develop their communication and cooperation skills.
In addition to academic activities the programme also includes cultural and social activities.
