Kempten International Summer School “Data Science for Everyone Compact"

Kempten International Summer School “Data Science for Everyone Compact“ will be offered by Kempten University again, in a digital format from August 02 – 05, 2021.

"Data Science for Everyone Compact“ has been designed for students across all disciplines. They will receive an introduction to data science and will be familiarised with very useful tools, in particular the free software "R". In this digital 4-day compact program imparted via ZOOM, students will see, that “R” is both easy to learn and very practical to apply, in particular for someone who has no background of Computer Science. Group work will be offered in ZOOM breakout rooms as well.

All students who have completed the first year of higher education are welcome to join our programme, no matter if they are enrolled in a technology or a business-related course. Previous knowledge of data science is not required.

We believe that even a digital summer school should offer some insights into Bavaria, the city of Kempten and its university, and offer opportunities to mix and mingle with fellow participants, and even to make new friends - we have organised a digital social side programme for this purpose!

Price:

Regular price is 379€ but two places for a special rate of 40 Euros only are offered to EPSEVG students. The fee covers the course tuition, all documents, a certificate and the digital social program.
