Espai Emprèn

What is Espai Emprèn UPC Vilanova?
This business entrepreneurship service is part of the framework for university-business relations at the Vilanova i la Geltrú School of Engineering (EPSEVG). The Espai "Emprèn UPC Vilanova entrepreneurship programme strengthens entrepreneurship education, cultivating values such as innovation and creativity, and spurring development of new businesses. The programme focuses particularly on self-employment, the social economy and collective entrepreneurship.
On 26 January 2018, Espai Emprèn UPC Vilanova was presented to graduates of the class. The programme is an initiative of the Universitat Politècnica de Cataluya, with the collaboration of public and private entities.
Espai Emprèn UPC Vilanova facilities, located on the second floor of the Neàpolis building, are open to membersof the UPC community (students and staff) with entrepreneurial initiative.
Following a selection process, projects receive support in the form of specific training. Participants can take advantage of Espai Emprèn UPC Vilanova facilities and start taking the first steps on the path to business success.
Budding entrepreneurs benefit from a combination of individual and group sessions (10 to 20 contact hours), which may be distributed over the length of the programme.
Espai Emprèn is a co-working space where material, furnishings, resources and even time are shared. It’s completely free for UPC students and projects involving at least one member of the UPC (a student or a graduate in the last two years).
If you have a business idea and want to take advantage of these facilities, get in touch with us by e-mail at empren.vilanova@upc.edu.
